There are not really long term studies on HCG that you could present, no, as that is still considered off-label technically. However, anecdotally, many men have used it long term for similar reasons and have had no issues.
I would suggest that it is not necessary to add HCG immediately unless you're actively looking to have a child now or within 6 months. 75% of men who add HCG in this time period are able to have a child while still on Testosterone, the others do end up needing to cycle off & it can also be due to their partner having low fertility issues.
It's fair to say you'd like HCG just for the cosmetic teste benefits, though. Either way, it does tend to be pricy. We can certainly say there is no harm in it if you have the extra money and have decided you want it. If they're too stubborn you could look at swapping providers.
