AlphaMD's Answer
TRT does not increase risk of heart attack at all. In fact, it seems to reduce the risk
TRT has been proven to lower cholesterol
Long term TRT has been proven to cause significant reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressure, blood glucose, hemoglobin A1c, C-reactive protein, alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase
When you say “full cycle”, I’m assuming you mean bodybuilding cycle. Long term elevated supraphysiologic testosterone does carry risks like enlarged and stiff myocardium, and high blood pressure and inflammation. These changes can occur in as little as 10 weeks.
TRT is safe and healthy and reduces cardiac risk. Bodybuilding is the opposite. There can be “too much of a good thing”.
