question from a user

Is lowering IGF1 a bad thing?

AlphaMD's Answer

In a vacuum it is not harmful to you. However often when people are looking at treating low Testosterone or hypogonadal symptoms then lowering IGF-1 is going to have the opposite impact than what one might expect from joining a TRT regimen. It interacts with your personal growth hormone and less of it can result in a harder time putting on muscle mass and other metabolism boosts which one normally expects when seeking out TRT.
