Why has it been so hard to find a pharmacy that can fill compounded hCG?

Due to new FDA regulations, access to compounded hCG is now extremely restricted and may at some point stop altogether. This means an already low supply of commercial hCG will become limited as more and more patients are forced to rely on expensive, brand-name medication.
